-=for those he's spoken to already, he's sounding a lot stronger and healthier. he is attempting to be lighthearted, but in the end he still sounds worn=-

I wanted to extend my gratitude to those who came to my aid when I first arrived here. I would have surely lost my life if it wasn't for your efforts, and while a mere word of thanks feels hardly appropriate for such an act of kindness, it is all I have to offer.

That being said, I am curious to learn about the different people that have come to be in this place. I believe the people I met were called humans? I had never left my home world, so this is a new sort of opportunity for me.

You're in luck then. I've spent a little over the past year going over the differences between trolls and humans, biological as well as sociological. If you have anything in particular in mind you wish to know of, feel free to ask.

No, not quite. There was a game that was played by twelve young trolls, and their prize was the creation of the universe us humans live in. Through shenanigans I ended up traveling through the void with four of the last ones left alive in the entire race. We had some time to kill and one of the ones I'm friends with thought it might be fun to do comparisons in our spare time when we weren't going over more important matters.

[Okay, not the most tactful way to go about that. He's never really been good at breaking bad news.]

The Vast Glub took out all of the trolls in the galaxy as far as we know, save the twelve that were in their game at the time. And even then, there's only a small fraction of those 12 left alive thanks to a few of them going a little off the deep end in confined space. At least that's how it was for my troll friend.

In your world, not in the future. But it's nothing you'll ever need to worry about, so believe what you will.

I'm sorry, I've only told you what I know to be true from what I've heard and seen.

Things such as that never seem real until you see them yourself, no one can blame you for your doubt.

From what I assume, I don't believe it's anything you'll ever have to see in your time.

Sometimes pretending is better than dwelling or worrying too much.

There's honestly not much more I can say on the matter, other than I'm sorry you had to hear it from me. Perhaps it would have meant more coming from one of the other trolls themselves.

I wouldn't expect you to. There's no changing the inevitable future, but that never means to stop fighting for the present.
