So... i believe its safe to say that im thoroughly discombobulated!
I mean ...i suppose stuff of this caliber probably happens all the time to big shot superheroes like the x-men, but good gravy it wouldnt hurt to give a fella a decent warning before you go chucking him haphazardly across the whole freakin multiverse!
This wasnt exactly what i haggled for when i said i wanted off my island.
Not that im complaining of course! No siree!!
This place looks like a hoot and i plan on getting up to my elbows in some serious exploring!!
But i guess this summon was sort of like a need for superheroes?
Im not an x-man or an avenger or any of those other spiffy world saving types back home but ive got a whole lot of moxie and reckless bravado!! And i guess id like to help??

[Though this person sounded really nice and he hoped that everything would be okay. He debated cramming his jacket back on, but scolded himself for being so paranoid. It was pretty obvious no one cared- and Nepeta had mentioned having horns? He was being silly.]
[So there was a mutually hesitant but grinning human standing there at the door with a pair of feathery wings and a complete lack of shirt.]
I did! My best bro has a knack for navigation and he got us both here in no time at all.

[her eyes do flick to the wings (subtly, as best as she can manage) because wow she was pretty sure that humans didn't have them? but there's no flinching away or change in her expression beyond that same hesitant curiosity. it's difficult to be judgemental when you're a gray-skinned horned alien with fangs and yellow eyes. especially one who knows all about being judged.
she tugs her hood in closer unconsciously, a nervous habit she'd never been able to break. then she pulls the door open all the way and backs up a little to give him room to come in. time to get to know the roomie better!]
Come on in! I kept the water hot so you can have some tea with me if you like.

He wondered if she was a mutant, too? Or maybe an alien? Either way, he guessed it didn't matter too much. He shuffled his way inside, visibly perking at the notion of tea. His wings bristled up as well, mirroring the excitement.]

[she admits this a little sheepishly as she pads over to the kettle and begins pouring the boiling water into the ready and waiting mugs. it's easier for her to relax in a familiar environment, especially since Jake seems to genuinely be harmless. it's nice.]
