But still, there is cause to worry... He's currently in quarantine at the hospital, so please keep him in your thoughts everyone. Or your prayers, if you do that sort of thing.

We don't know if that's what it is yet! People can still just get colds and such too...

And what happens when someone has a cold? Are they quarantined also?

Typically, yes. Because the fever has the same symptoms as many other lesser illnesses. Once we're sure people with colds don't have it, then they're moved out of quarantine.
