I'm gonna go ahead and guess: there are a bunch of other people who got kidnapped. So. How long have you been stuck? I'm hoping for less than a week, but somehow I really doubt it.

It's an earthbending tournament, and before you ask, earthbending is the ability to manipulate earth. Rocks, the ground, sand, and in my case, metal.

It sounded like you answered for yourself, not for everybody.

I think there might be a couple people that've been here longer, but we pretty much all got here at the same time. Like they decided to step up their game plan all of a sudden.

I know. No one here's heard of bending at all. It's completely nuts.

I like my teacher. It's weird to know a different one who didn't teach me.

It might not be the same, but maybe you can learn something different. He's his own person; don't think of him like the teacher you're used to. You're not the guy he knows either.
