[The view suddenly shifts to the ceiling of his room-- apparently our young antihero expects to leave his mirror behind. There's a soft chirp off-screen, though, and a very colorful blur.]

[Komory Bat coos and chirps at you in a vaguely friendly way, but seems to be quite content perching on Riku's shoulder like a large, colorful fluffy appendage.]

This isn't where I thought I'd end up. Do you know anything about that? [Riku gestures towards the mirror still on his bed.]

Actually, I just got here myself a few days ago, so I don't really know too much. Just that we have to solve problems.

What kind of 'problems' have there been so far?

I helped a nice woman pick some mushrooms and rocks.

I dunno. You'd think they would be able to get their own mushrooms, right?

Exactly. There's always a catch.

[And while Riku's thinking on that, his Dream Eater takes off from his shoulder, doing a lap around John and then going on to the window. Noticing, Riku smiles a bit.]

Right. We definitely need more information. Are you staying here?

[windyheir]

[He's watching the Dream Eater run around him as he responds.]

Well duh, it'd be kinda creepy for me to be in here like this if I weren't.

[See that was his first thought. >.>]

I'm heading out. [He expects to leave the world in short order (or whenever he finds a keyhole, hah), but you can go with him, if you'd like, John. Roomie bonding time. Levi perches on his shoulder and Riku heads for the door to exit the room.]

Going exploring?

[Because that's totally what John did when he first arrived.]

I can come along and show you some of the stuff I found, if you want.

Sure. You probably know more than I do right now.

[And there Riku'll lead you both out and onto the streets. This place was... really a lot brighter than he'd thought it'd be for a cave, even an enormous one, but he's not really complaining after wandering around the belly of a gigantic space whale. Levi tags along, drifting along behind them, but Riku's not too worried- they always find him when they need to.]

[John is walking instead of floating around today, since he's traveling with someone else.]

A little, I guess. The caves are really big, and it's easy to get lost in them. I'd say not to go in there unless you go with a group. Oh and down there-

[He points towards a part of the city by the water front.]

It's all flooded there, so let's avoid that too.

[Wait till you see Riku with itty bat wings flying around Riku nods and makes a note of the places John points out.]

How dangerous are the caves?

Well, there's lots of monsters, and it's easy to get lost. I'd say they're pretty dangerous.

I guess it depends on how well you fight.
