[A young boy happens to be standing in the middle of Frogtown, with the bottom half of his pants wet from sloshing through the water in the streets. But he has stopped wandering for the moment, and he is looking into his mirror with a more-than-slightly alarmed look on his face.

As he is talking various Huglu can be seen behind him, going about their daily business. A couple stop to look at John curiously, but within seconds they continue on their way.]

Okay, I need to find someone. Her name's Jade, and she looks kinda like me but she's a girl and she's got dog ears. If you see her I really really REALLY need to talk to her as soon as I can, so yeah. If anyone knows where she is, I'd appreciate it if you told me.

And Jade? If you get this message, I swear I didn't do anything to the frogs this time. They were like that when I found them.

Nah, we had them on the ship. And Dave used his time powers to help them grow faster, so it really didn't take that long. Plus they were completely normal frogs before here, so yeah.

[So many misunderstandings. Sooooo many of them.]

You must've had one shell of a ship, then! Beclaws they definitely don't look very normal anymore to me.

[if they keep this up they'll be well on the way to all of them.]

It was a really big ship! We took it from one of the chess guy armies, I think. I definitely saw them flying around Skaia the couple times I was there. But I thought something here did something to the frogs, since they were on the ship for a year without changing much.

Oh. These things have been here for a while, I think; they're probably different frogs altogether.

[well now she feels a little silly for assuming. but then something he says catches her attention]

...wait, Skaia?

Oh, SO they're not Jade's frogs?

[He may be sounding a bit relieved there.]

Wait, have you heard of Skaia before?

Probably not! There's a bunch of funny-looking aliens around here like that.

Yeah, it was a place in Sgrub! But I didn't think that anyone else had played it.

[That is definitely a word he has heard before. Once, specifically, and it takes him a moment to remember where he had heard it.]

It's nice to meet you, John! I can definitely understand how things could get mixed up like that - everything was in so much chaos that I'm honestly surprised I even noticed winding up here.

It's kinda hard not to notice the freaky mirror lady or all the weird alien species around. Though you're an alien too, so I guess it's not so bad for you.

But anyway, since trolls are here too, I guess I should look for Rose and Dave as well. Actually, have you met either of them?

No, I haven't met anybody with those names. But I'm clawsitive that I haven't seen everyone in this city yet, so they could be here anyway! And people are always getting pulled in.

Oh, do they? I thought it was weird, Jade was talking like she hadn't seen me in forever, even though I just saw her this morning! Have you been here a long time?

Not really, I don't think that it's even been a week yet. But there's a clawful lot of weird time shenanigans going on here, so you have to be careful about stuff like that.

You know, since there's time shenanigans going on, I wonder if the game has anything to do with this. I thought I was outside the game for a bit, but maybe it could've pulled us all back in to another session to mess with us, or something.
