[A young boy happens to be standing in the middle of Frogtown, with the bottom half of his pants wet from sloshing through the water in the streets. But he has stopped wandering for the moment, and he is looking into his mirror with a more-than-slightly alarmed look on his face.

As he is talking various Huglu can be seen behind him, going about their daily business. A couple stop to look at John curiously, but within seconds they continue on their way.]

Okay, I need to find someone. Her name's Jade, and she looks kinda like me but she's a girl and she's got dog ears. If you see her I really really REALLY need to talk to her as soon as I can, so yeah. If anyone knows where she is, I'd appreciate it if you told me.

And Jade? If you get this message, I swear I didn't do anything to the frogs this time. They were like that when I found them.

No, I haven't met anybody with those names. But I'm clawsitive that I haven't seen everyone in this city yet, so they could be here anyway! And people are always getting pulled in.

Oh, do they? I thought it was weird, Jade was talking like she hadn't seen me in forever, even though I just saw her this morning! Have you been here a long time?

Not really, I don't think that it's even been a week yet. But there's a clawful lot of weird time shenanigans going on here, so you have to be careful about stuff like that.

You know, since there's time shenanigans going on, I wonder if the game has anything to do with this. I thought I was outside the game for a bit, but maybe it could've pulled us all back in to another session to mess with us, or something.

[faker]

Do you think so? You're the first person who wasn't a troll to mention the game to me.

[but she hasn't met everyone, and it's not like people can't keep secrets. who knows?]

Maybe you just didn't meet them yet, there are only four of us who were playing, so anyone else wouldn't know about it.

[Oh yeah, and that reminds him of something.]

But it's cool to see other humans! I wasn't expecting that at all.

[faker]

That's certainly clawsible. [and then she laughs a little]

Oh my gosh yes, it's so cool seeing all the funny aliens here! They all look so neat.

[windyheir]

You mean there's more besides the frogs?

voice;

[faker]

Yeah, haven't you seen them yet?

voice;

[windyheir]

Not yet, but I'm gonna now.

[Yeah he's splashing through the streets of Frog Town to get to the other parts of the city and see what's there.]

voice;

[faker]

[pfffft and she's laughing at that]

Don't drown before you get there!

voice;

[windyheir]

Don't worry about me, it's not even that deep-

[Of course, he trips over a curb in the street, since he couldn't see it because of the water. Oops. There's a loud splash and John is coughing up water a moment later.]

[faker]

See? [and she's laughing even harder now despite herself]

voice;

[windyheir]

Not drowning!

[His protests sound a bit too forced as he tries to struggle to his feet. Now he's soaked to the bone and he doesn't have any spare clothes with him. Damn.]

[faker]

You sound clawfully close to it, though. [this is why you watch where you're going in a new universe, John]

It's not even that deep! What loser would drown in three inches of water?

voice;

[faker]

The same one who'd trip headfirst into it, I think.

That was one accident. One. Accident! It's not going to happen again.

[he's watching where he walks now.]

I hope not! It'd be pretty clawful if you had to walk around wet all the time.

[windyheir]

Yeah, it's pretty bad now. I guess I should go find my apartment and dry off or something.

That might help a little bit, unless you want to see if the aliens respond to squishy noises.
