Attention guests and citizens of Darstone. I would like to bring to your attention a warning. There are two dangerous blokes in the city and I urge you all to be careful around them.

They are from my world, and they have committed atrocities the likes of which I care not to discuss unless asked directly. Please be cautious! As I've stated, they are dangerous. Make certain you never turn your back on them!

Not just the blade, but the King, himself. [he took the name Arthur because of him!] I... am an immortal being. I'm not a human at all, and neither are the two men I spoke of.

I imagine that explains much about your person. Though I imagine your King and myself are different people, being I'm sure this is the first time we've met.

Ah... Your Majesty... May I ask how you are still alive today?

It is a long story, but I will give you the short version. Two years ago a group of magi held a war for the right to claim the Holy Grail and the right to make a single wish. They decide the winner by summoning ancient heroes and having them fight to the death, I was one of those heroes.

After the war's end I was able to say in the modern age by making a contract with the woman I now call my wife. If something were to happen to her, I would return whence I came.

[he listens carefully. the story actually intrigues him. it sounds very epic and romantic...]

Did they force you to fight for them? Er, the magi, I mean. [because that is what it sounds like]

I imagine I wasn't forced, there was something I wished for as well and thus fought for my own sake. Though, I've given up on that wish since I've found my own happiness as things are now.
